M. Craig Crimmings – “Craig”, a lifelong resident of Orlando, serves as an Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for the Bank. He has served in a commercial credit or lending capacity for numerous Orlando banks since 1981. Craig has developed a large and dedicated following of high net worth and savvy business customers over his many years of serving customers in the market. Craig is a graduate of Rollins College and the University of Delaware’s Stonier Graduate School of banking.


Michael H. Erdman, Vice Chairman – “Mike” has been an active businessman in Brevard County for over 30 years.  Married to the love of his life Fredrika in 1990, they have been active in the philanthropic community for many years while raising their seven children and loving their two grandkids.  He has a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Georgia and an MBA degree in Management from the University of Miami.  He was a Founding director of Sunrise Bank among other local endeavors.  He is also an active member at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.


Barry R. Griffiths, President - “Barry” joined Sunrise in March 2021.  Previously he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Seaside National Bank & Trust in Orlando, Florida.  Mr. Griffiths helped organize and launch Seaside in 2006.  Seaside grew to over $2 billion in assets before being acquired by a large out-of-state financial institution in 2020.  Mr. Griffiths is also a Florida-licensed certified public accountant and prior to Seaside, he was a partner at the public accounting firm of Hacker, Johnson & Smith, PA, in charge of their Orlando office.  He worked with many Florida-based financial institutions that ranged from newly formed de novo banks up to publicly-traded, multi-bank holding companies. Mr. Griffiths received a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Florida. He has also received banking certifications from the Graduate School of Banking held at Louisiana State University and Florida’s Banking School held at the University of Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


R. Paul Johnson - “Paul”, serves as Executive Vice President and Market Leader of Brevard county.  Paul is a true Floridian and has been serving the banking needs of Brevard County since 1979. He has served as President and CEO of three Brevard County banks, and was founding CEO and President of two of those banks.   Paul is well known in Brevard County and has served on many boards and committees of several community organizations.  With a strong background in commercial lending and knowledge of the local market, he has maintained a loyal customer base for many years.  

 

John Kingman Keating – “John” is the founding law partner of Keating/Schlitt, P.A., practicing in areas of commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, commercial loans, land use planning and development, leasing, management, and tax deferred exchanges. Mr. Keating also owns and operates a title closing agency, Town Square Title, which offers residential and commercial closing and settlement services throughout Florida. John received his Juris Doctorate degree from University of Florida, College of Law and is a member of the Florida Bar, Orange County Bar Association, American Bar Association and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida.


Charles B. Lowe, Jr. – “Charlie” serves as an Executive Vice President, business development officer and relationship manager for the Bank. He has served in a commercial lending capacity for a variety of Orlando banks since 1974. His “can-do” attitude and comprehensive knowledge of commercial lending has allowed Charlie to help countless local businesses realize their dreams. Charlie has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and earned his MBA from Rollins College.


Craig Mateer - “Craig” founded CCM Capital Group as an investment and operations services company after selling Bags, Inc, to publicly traded SP Plus in November 2018.

 

William S. Moss, Chairman - “Bill” retired as Senior Managing Director of CBRE, Inc., the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm. His extensive experience and knowledge of the local and national real estate markets allows Bill to provide expert guidance when the Bank is evaluating real estate financing opportunities. Bill is a graduate of the University of Virginia and is a licensed real estate professional in the State of Florida.


Steven L. Oktela – “Steve” is an active businessman in Brevard County, currently operating SOMOJO Properties, LLC, a property management company. He formerly owned three Harley-Davidson dealerships. Mr. Oktela is an Air Force veteran, flying a variety fighter and transport aircraft. He flew many combat missions in war torn Sarajevo.  Mr. Oktela has called Brevard County home since 1980. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in engineering.


Kevin H. Paffrath – “Kevin” is the General Manager of the Conoley Citrus and Conoley Fruit Companies. The Conoley family of companies owns and manages several large groves and packing facilities throughout central and south Florida. Kevin is responsible for overall management of the company operations, marketing, procurement, profitability and forward strategies. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Mississippi and successfully passed the exams for both Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.


Matt Ravenscroft – “Matt” serves an Executive Vice President, business development officer and relationship manager for the Bank. He is a seasoned banker having served in a variety of positions in Orlando banks since 1989. Matt has a proven business development record as evidenced by his large portfolio of dedicated customers that have followed him throughout his career. Prior to joining Sunrise Bank in 2015, Mr. Ravenscroft helped to successfully build Orange Bank, Citrus Bank, Admiralty Bank United Heritage Bank and Old Florida Bank each of which culminated in a profitable merger.
